Byond crashes all the time when I try to connect to any game from the list. Windows 8, Earlier version worked fine, problem apeared after update. Re-instalation have no effect.

try restarting your PC and check if you have any anti-virus on or firewall disabling byond cause they prevent byond from opening

Wouldn't it be easier for your friend to post directly? Playing telephone with issues like this never works well.

Specifically, I'm looking for information about the module that the crash occurred in (e.g., dreamseeker.exe, byondcore.dll, etc.), the offset where it happened, and the fault/exception code.
Also of course it's crucial to know which version you just installed, and (to a lesser extent) which version you had previously.
