Secondary map control turns black (or in some cases, part of it when the control is set to stretch to fit in the interface editor).

When something is output to the control.

Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked?
This issue is prevalent as far back as 504.1225 (at least, that's as far back as I tested).

Workarounds:
Output something to the control.
