Descriptive Problem Summary:
If you search for someone on BYOND pager, they are always listed as offline, even if they aren't. Adding someone to your friend's list doesn't tell you when they come online either.
Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
Try to search for someone on BYOND who you know is online.

Expected Results:
You should be able to page them and see that they are online.
Actual Results:
They don't show up as online.
Does the problem occur:
It happens all the time.



I'll probably need more information to investigate this. Some user names, and maybe screenshots would help.

Also very strange. It initially shows them as offline, but if you wait about 2 minutes after searching it shows them as online. Still the friends functionality is very broken.
One thing to keep in mind is that the pager and hub don't always bother to retrieve online info for people who aren't in your friends list. There are certain conditions that must be met first. Also, the delay you're seeing could fit in with the fact that your initial hub query may not have been on a persistent connection; the connection only becomes persistent after a pager message.
