BYOND Version:510.1331
Operating System:Windows 7 Pro
Web Browser:Firefox 44.0
Applies to:Dream Seeker
Status: Open

Issue hasn't been assigned a status value.
Descriptive Problem Summary:
This problem applies to Space Station 13 game servers (all ss13 servers). Sometimes when using certain things in game such as a PDA or character creation, an additional window opens. Lately though this sometimes causes Dream seeker to stop responding and Byond has to be closed down and restarted. It should be noted that:
1. This problem happens on all SS13 servers, not just my regular server
2. This problem is random, sometimes windows open fine, sometimes they don't
3. This problem only occurs once per PC boot. Once the program stops responding, restarting Byond not only fixes the problem but also seems to prevent it from happening again as well until a fresh boot of said PC happens.
4. This problem is present in Byond v209 and 210(Beta)
5. A cache clear + reinstall of Byond has not fixed this problem
6. I am the only one of 30 people on my server that have this problem

Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:

Code Snippet (if applicable) to Reproduce Problem:

Expected Results:
Additional window should open

Actual Results:
Dream Seeker stops responding

Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often?
No, but it does happen early on after booting up Byond and joining a game. It also only happens once. After the freeze has happened, rebooting SS13 and Byond ensures that the freeze never happens again until the PC is restarted.
In other games?
I have not tested this in other games
In other user accounts?
I only have one account
On other computers?
I only have one PC

When does the problem NOT occur?
After restarting Byond, the problem no longer occurs until restarting the PC.

Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked? (Visit http://www.byond.com/download/build to download old versions for testing.)
I do not know what version of Byond it was, but roughly 1 year ago the problem was not present on any server.

Workarounds:
After restarting Byond, the problem no longer occurs until restarting the PC.
