error help?
Dropbox.com
This guy's right o.o uploading a library/demo/game is much harder than one would think. I tried using sites that gave direct links(pasting it onto the browser caused the file to begin downloading instantly) including Google drive(and using a online direct link converter), dropbox, and some other sites that I don't remember the names from. Installation always fails on BYOND. What the fuck?
If the URL is https:// it won't work, http:// only.
Converting that to http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/xrcvzl6jzg5wbxx/dra.zip also results in a failed download. What gives?
You can't just convert an https link to http, it just redirects as https.
ok and how to convert it from https to http?
http://sabercathost.com/29V7/Interface_Manager_src.zip this link is a http direct download and it doesn't work...

that is why it is not a direct link

Weird. It is on Chrome but it's not on Edge
It\s not a direct link, it loads up a go-between webpage before the file starts downloading, that's not what direct links are. Direct links point straight at the file with no go betweens.
where can I upload the file?

Where can I upload the file?

where I can raise the file?

There's no in between when it's opened on chrome. It just automatically starts downloading. When opened on Edge, it'll go to that other website
It does that because you're the uploader. Everyone else gets the "wait 60 seconds to download" page, on all browsers, which means it's not a direct link.

Ah. Well, I've yet to find a website that supports true direct links without it being HTTPS. I've tried sites.google and uploading files on my website, Dropbox, box, mega.co.nz, Google drive, ge.tt,just to name a few. Why is it so hard to do this.. one would think uploading games/demos/libraries would be easier. The only choice I see is becoming a member
