The college I attend will be participating in the LudumDare Challenge on 4/15.
There are two entries a solo 48 hour entry, and a 72 hour solo or group entry.

I will be participating in the group entry and might lead a team to develop a project using byond. The only problem is I'm unsure if BYOND is compatible with the entry process. I'm sure its possible to submit the game as playable through the webclient, but I'm not too aware of the limitations of the webclient and would like to avoid relying on it to avoid potential problems. It seems we aren't able to produce .exe files. So I'm asking what would you guys reccommend would be the best approach if I wanted to develop a game for this contest in BYOND and have a proper submission. Cause its not plausible to have everyone who votes to download byond to just to play one game.

I'm spending that weekend at Disneyland
how do i use byond exe?
are you talking about the dmb? or giving them byond.exe to install byond?
You can wrap up your game in a standalone distributable .exe that doesn't require the user to directly install BYOND. It's one of the lesser known features, but it's pretty useful. I had a nice launcher for Feed a few years ago with it that showed available servers and all sorts of stuff. Requires a little scripting knowledge to get good, though.
Yeah, im asking how do you do that? Theres no option to do that when you package it.

Gotta request access via the support form. Lummox will fill you in on the details.
