Er... what? Hardware vs. software rendering mode is a Dream Seeker setting. It's right in the system menu under Client | Preferences.

I found it, in preferences 'use graphic hardware for displaying maps' I unchecked it, and the colors appeared, that's kind of weird though. Thanks for the assistance though :o

If you're not seeing color matrices in graphics hardware mode, you need to update your graphics drivers. Or, your card is so old it doesn't support shader model 2.0, in which case you should update the card.

it works fine without the box checked, so I really dont care.
