When I try to join an SS13 server, dreamseeker starts up and downloads the files, and then after that it just crashes or in some cases just stay's there doing nothing, no error no nothing...

If you're getting a crash, you can post the details from the Windows event viewer. If it's just hanging doing nothing, antivirus is probably to blame. Make sure all of BYOND's installation folder (the "bin" folder, specifically) is in your antivirus's exceptions.
