I have recently found out about this through an email they sent me. They will stop rendering HTML all together on October 3rd, 2016. I'm sure that some of us actually had working HTML pages before. That will no longer be the case on that date.
This is an alert message for anyone who used it in the past or is using it to render HTML pages. Y'all may need to look for a more official way of handling them. Fortunately, you can find websites that will do it freely. Some of y'all already know that, of course.

People actually used dropbox for page hosting? That's hilariously lame.
|
Yep, some people actually used it to host at least single page HTML files.
Heck, I even used it to host a few test releases of the HTML5 Edition of ClassicVCom HD (which is really one page). It was a nice way to get people to test out pages before they go up on a real website. Of course, that method has limitations such as lack of server-side scripting support along with lack of SQL support of any sort. |
