Any suggestions on any good cheap computers that i could get specifically for programming in byond?
any other legit recommendations,And maybe guidelines i should go by to achieve fast compiling time?

This is an affordable mid-tier build. Drop the second monitor to make it $100 cheaper. Drop the headphones to make it $40 cheaper. Total outlay is <$900.

At this stage, I would not recommend anything less. Bang for buck just isn't there IMO.
For compiling?

Core2Quad, 4GB DDR2, GFX Card with 2GB GDDR3/1GB GDDR5, and a 7200rpm HDD, Win7/10 64-Bit should suffice.
(You can find these on eBay, Amazon, NewEgg, and Craigslist in "used" or "refurbished" for around $50-100 depending on where you look. This normally includes a cheapo LCD monitor with VGA, and a mouse/keyboard combo).

I have 3 computers (that are currently built and running. I'm not including my 3 boxes full of computer parts that could be make into full desktops) and they all compile large projects with no hiccups, although the lower-end desktop takes a little bit longer but still doesn't freeze or choke.

#1 - MSi GT72 G-1445 Laptop. It's an i7-5700 HQ, 16GB DDR3, GTX 970m 3GB, 1TB 7200rpm HDD, Win10 64-Bit Home.

#2 - i5-2400 stock, 6GB DDR3, Radeon R7 250x, 1.5TB 7200rpm HDD, Win10 64-Bit Home.

#3 - Core2Quad (Q8200) stock, 6GB DDR2, GT610 (1GB GDDR3 variant), 250GB 7200rpm HDD, Win10 64-Bit Home.

I wouldn't trust #3 to host or play some of the more intense projects on BYOND, but it will compile them and load large maps in DM. #2 will host without any serious issues and will play and compile anything on BYOND without issues. #1 is just overpowered for anything on BYOND, to be honest and is my choice for anything gaming since it's my laptop and has a 75Hz G-Sync IPS panel.

Before I upgraded the Core2Quad machine, it was running a Core2Duo with 2GB DDR2 with the GT610 and it was compiling things decently except would cause DM to freeze on some larger projects and after a coffee break and a few cigarettes I'd come back and it would un-freeze itself.

Thank you for replying,I'll most likely be going for the #3 Option,I'll also add a SSD instead of the 7200 RPM hard drive in hopes have having faster disk right speeds.,Due to the fact that i'll only be using it for compiling. And as far as hosting goes i use a offsite vps service:6 gb ram,4 Xeon 3.1Mhz processor and a 65 gb ssdWhen you say large projects would that mean large .RSC+.DMB or large project folder overall?

If you're going to put an SSD, regardless of capacity, into an old machine like a C2Q you're wasting money (Not because it's "old" but because... it's old. Like, most of the older LGA 775 mobos can't even reach 6Gb/s that most SSDs are rated at or near).

Realistically, if you aren't going cheap-as-heck and you want to do more than just BYOND, like having a media server for your household or do some very light gaming, I'd reckon you're better off building a $350-$550 PC. This depends if you buy used parts or not.
