While the game is not where I'd like it to be for a release, its been broken too long. With some recent interest I'd rather have something that works even if it has imcomplete new features. This version is intended to be the first with a scenario based game with AI and set game options, expect this to not work as intended until its updated to a working state. The usual multiplayer mode should now be working as intended however, and the AI nations should still be useable in that section.

Bug Fixes
* Modified the "jumpstart" command which helps out when turns happen to stop.
* Changes to BYOND stoped larger icons from being displayed, fixed.
* K Wagen for Germany unit displayed in the wrong place, fixed.
* A7V for Germany didn't display in combat properly, fixed.
* Tried to rearrange where stat tables such as population density are re-recorded to prevent weird % results in middle of turn calculations.
* % stats sometimes crashed when trying to deal with 0 figures, fixed.
* An issue that could freeze servers during battle between two armies has hopefully been fixed.
* Changes to BYOND froze the game before it even started, fixed.
Changes
* Interface
+ The message window is now started wider, so that the resources can include labels.
+ Finance Department now has image labels next to each form of resource.
+ Import Tax number is now displayed with commas.
+ The 'Centre' command now appears with a + sign on the building window. This is the command to get to a specific co-ordinate on the map.
+ The map commands now display with the map regardless of whether it is docked or not; additionally the X and Y position of the player is displayed in this instead of the main window.
* Graphics
+ Sea tiles now have a basic animation.
+ Castrum now has its own image, getting away from the barracks placeholder image.
* Income
+ Poll Tax now pays double, 400 cash per town instead of 200.
+ Income Tax now pays differently. C grade is slightly easier to get and continues to pay 0.
- New band C+ which gives a little increase.
- New band B- which gives between C+ and B.
- New band B+ which gives between B and A-.
- New band A- which gives between B+ and A.
- New band A+ which gives the highest rate.
* Buildings
+ Some building costs have changed for balancing.
- Research centre's are now 15,000 (was 8,000).
- Hospitals are now 10,000 (was 5,000).
- Schools are now 7,500 (was 4,000).
- Steam plants are now 7,500 (was 2,500).
- Power Plants are now 15,000 (was 5,000).
* Unit Costs
+ Changes to infantry costs. This is now a bit closer to "historical" values of 20 years service.
- Arquebusiers cost 2,500.
- Musketeers cost 7,500.
- Line Infantry cost 12,000.
- Riflemen cost 25,000.
- Skirmish Infantry cost 65,000.
* Research
+ Blackout nations will no longer be able to conduct research and will be held back untill power returns.
* Battle System
+ I've been struggling to keep the battle system working, it works fine for a certain amount (between 50-200 battles) and then fails, hence I've changed the system which also happens to speed up the process anyway:
- The game no longer shows units moving, they start in positions relative to their range on the screen straight away.
- Units attack in order based on its speed, different to before in which its speed dictated distance travelled and then seeing if units are in range.
- A unit can randomly attack any opposing unit which has a range lower or equal to it.
- If there is no such unit with a range lower, it will pick whichever enemy unit has the lowest range.
- This new system, while not as exciting as units drive towards each other, is quicker for a tick based game for minimal disruption. It also doesn't seem to break which is always good.
New Features:
* Start Game
+ The way that countries start has now been streamlined for better modification, and in future could include user created start layouts.
+ As part of that, there is now 3 types of starting designs to choose from:
- Diamond is a new style which includes an extra farm and forest and couple of blank squares.
- Classic is the traditional 3x3 square that has existed nearly as long as Wargames has.
- Blank offers just one solitary tile of land.
* Buildings
+ Construction Yard readded for the intention of Warship building.
* AI Nations
+ Hosts can now add an AI nation to play alongside. It runs as tested before, it builds, it raises armies, it attacks. Good times. Non-subs are limited to just 1 AI nation.
Subscriber Features:
* Subs people can add as many AI nations as they like, use with caution! the load can be heavy longer the game goes on.
