Implementing this feature is not possible now or in the foreseeable future
I would like to allow for a 'play a sound' step in the animate() sequence.

Client pixel_x/y animate steps, for screen shaking among other uses, would also be a luxury.

Lummox JR resolved issue (Not Feasible)
animate() has to do with appearances. Sound is not in any way appearance-related. If you want a sound at a certain time, all you have to do is sleep() for however long you need and then send the sound.
