When does the problem NOT occur?

Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked? (Visit http://www.byond.com/download/build to download old versions for testing.)
Will test.

Workarounds:
None to my knowledge.
I believe I found the problem, and will have a fix in the next server release. I won't mark this closed until there's better confirmation, though, so please retest when the next Linux build is out. (The current Linux build is 511.1371; the fix will likely be in 1373.)

The crash is related to a client disconnect during the map sending. Most of the map sending routines have sanity checks against this, but one specific one did not. That routine relates to areas, so it's likely that something your server is doing with areas makes this more common.
Awesome, is there anything I can do to help you fix it? I can probably reproduce more crash reports if that's the case.
Nope, it's fixed already; it just has to wait for the next release.
Still getting the same issue on 511.1373, just tested it.
If you have a new crash trace, please post it.
