The current SS13 hub looks like a mess with server owners setting their worldnames to

I'm assuming you mean world.status not world.name, and yes, I've been pushing for this for literally over a decade and a half. +1,000,000

Limiting this at the hub level is difficult. It may require intervention on the software side, meaning people would need to update their pagers to see a change. I'll look into this, though.

My best and easiest solution would be to simply strip all HTML formatting at a hub level and reject any non-alphanumeric characters. Sure the hub would look much more bland, but it gets rid of all the issues where people can embed nasty things |
I think the proper solution is to just hub ban servers that abuse html rather then let 3 servers ruin it for everybody.
Like on ss13, we had this happen, then immediate the playerbase boycotted those server, now they sit on the bottom of the hub page, where they belong, with one of them even reforming and going back to a normal size. |
There's no mechanism to ban a single world from appearing on the entry, that's literally the whole reason hub_password exists which is moot in your case.

Lummox seems to think otherwise |
servers are pretty much reliant on having static IPs, so ip blocking servers that abuse it wouldn't be a big deal

He might have to go as far as banning the host itself, unless he managed to sneak it in without telling anyone.
