Hey I was wondering if anyone had an answer for this problem ive been having. Back in the day I used to play this game called Resident Evil Online Beta and i was trying to host it, or even play it solo and the game wont load, and if i try to host it using dream daemon it wont load and stops hosting instantly. I feel like its because the game is very old and hasnt been updated in years, but i was wondering i could get past, or fix whatever is going on. Thanks :)

Try running an old byond version

I did some digging and found old byond files, i loaded the game up and it actually loaded instead of not at all, but daemon still wont load and it says that the "* Game version could not be verified, try again later. *" should i try other versions?

To me it sounds like the game files are outright corrupt. If that's the case, an old version won't run them any better than a new one.
BYOND has tried to stay fully compatible with old games for quite some time now, so this whole issue coming up in the first place is an oddity. | |
I imagine the compatibility it has, and I believe that to have such compatibility to please the customer, this anywhere, generates more weight for some point, be pro space on Hard Disk and etc.
