I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times, but even when the program DOES operate, the BYOND shortcut displays a loading screen until it fully loads, then disappears entirely. In the task manager it shows the the program is running but I literally can't find it anywhere. Any insight would be appreciated

If you are using the .exe file, download the .zip file and extract it to a folder. Go to the 'bin' folder and start byond.exe . If you are using the .zip file and know everything that I just said ,then I can't help. Because I just started using Byond today so...
