Problem description:
Hi folks, I felt like publishing an early alpha of a new game of mine to see if people would find any interest in it. However it is my first time doing so and I'm stumbling on some problems, namely on the download url.

I mainly use dropbox and have the file on https://www.dropbox.com/s/gcy0obapmrj9e34/Evosim.zip?dl=1 , so, it should download directly after clicking on it. The file is detected by byond, however when I use the pager to see if the game is really downloadable and playable, it gives me an error saying it failed to download. Anyone familiar with this who could help me out, please?
Https doesn't work (:
Thanks, I changed it to http, however it still doesn't work. Is there anything special I need to watch out with packaging or dropbox?

Dropbox hasn't worked for direct downloads since earlier this year. The reason is because although a http address was provided, Dropbox is directing that to a https server, which the BYOND pager doesn't handle.

The download link requirements are that the link needs to be a direct link (not to a download page) and it must use http.

Here is a list of supported download sites. I'll also add that BYOND memberships get some file upload space that meets the requirements mentioned above.

Edit: The link above will unfortunately not be extremely helpful at this moment in time. It appears that the sole supported site mentioned, Ozibox, is down.
