How do you update byond

the name is quite self-explanatory , but i have this game which says i need to update to the latest version to play (that is 512.1393) so im really confused how you update it

You can always go to BYOND's download page to see what the current stable and beta versions are.

In your case, it looks like the game you are trying to play was made using the beta version (as of 22/12/17), so you should download and install that.
