Practicing Shading

I wanted to practice on some shading technquies so I made this.

I made the light source directly in front of him.

Try doing an angled light source like the slash \ or / it would look a lot better. and give it that pillow shaded look. Light wouldn't necessarily be in front unless it's car lights or a flash light.

Here is an example with the same pallet but with some of the black shades taken out.
