I'm trying to make this look like a wall that came up from the ground. Right now its very basic but I can't think of anything else to make it look more like a rock.

I'm in a production team and were making a Yu Yu Hakusho game. I get bored from time to time and I make avatar icons. I have a lot. >.< I'm starting to think "Maybe I could join or make an Avatar game..." but I'm not to sure yet. Lol.

Updated!
Thank you Pandora. This was helpful. I couldn't change the pallet much because it has to match the ground that I already have, but I did fix it up a bit. North and South View: East and West View: |

the perspective is off on the side view of the wall. It looks like the wall should be crumbling because of how much you took out on that angle.

I really Like the Idea of using a -real- rock wall as a reference picture. But you didn't Extract too much from it. I made a little 2 color quick sketch, what I wanted to point out was how the wall is made up of a bunch of rock, piled from largest to smallest. You can take this idea and shape it to a defensive type wall. Pretty cool.
West || South || East And sorry for the quality, I'm using my laptop away from home and had to make this with the tiny little weird touch pad thinly. |

actually that gets more towards a naruto style of rock wall defense and away from avatar if your familiar with the show they create flat boards like he has, but i do see what your saying

A very quick doodle, basicly all you have to do is add some texture, make it look a bit cracked and fix up your pallete to make it a tad bit more like stone and less like dirt.
Sorry, kinda running out of time here. i hoe it helps,
