Hello!

I was having trouble deciding between my bases on which I was going to use for my upcoming game. I was told this is the best place for this kinda' stuff, so here I am. Which base looks more appealing Base A or Base B? I was leaning more towards Base A because I was thinking the head on Base B was a tad bit too big. What are your thoughts?

Both are a bit off to be honest, what type of game are you trying to make so that way we have a better thought on how your base should be lol.

It's a Bleach game, and for those of you who aren't familiar what "Bleach" is you can click on the link below for more information.

I think Anime characters in general tend to have an overall skinny build, so that's what I was trying to go for.

Well, i suggest relaxing the arms a bit maybe making the base a little less tense, also take the right side state's head and put it on the left one, for some reason the side state on the left, it's head seems messed up to me lol.

I lowered the arms by one pixel to give it a more "relaxed" look, and I put Base B's head on Base A's side view, however, it was a pixel too big so I lowered it by one. What do you think now?

I like the longer head on B.

- Those shoulders seem alittle high which gives it an unrelaxed feeling. (In base A they look good.)

- On the side view, I would pull back the body about 1 pixel. It looks as thought the person is about to fall backwards from head weight.

- Last little note... the shorts aren't the same. It goes from shorts to a speedo... :P

Good work though. Keep it up.

Hmm, seems like it's heavily edited of hulio's old base, some of the pixels are in the same exact spot, but we're fairly limited with 32x32 base. Whatever the case i say you should try to work around that.

Here's a comparison.

Once again though, i can be wrong. Do you have the WIP? if so please post it up.

What is this pick on sticks day...

I don't know who in the world Hulio is, however, I was sent that base by Maqdream (Lead Developer of our Bleach game) to mimic the style. He said that's how he wanted it and I used it as a reference. It'll obviously look similar if I used it as a reference but it's in no way the same piece. If it becomes a problem I have no problem redoing the base, but as I said it was the style he wanted and I simply complied.

Don't worry i noticed it to, but i compared them to see their isn't to big of a deal, seeing as the whole structure and palette are different, it also just doesn't seem like a bleach base yet to me, a bit to muscular. maybe loosen up the muscle shades, change the arms around a little bit more lol.

I'm just going to redo the whole thing. I'll post again when it's finished.
I'm sorry I thought you said I could have it. :( I guess you didn't and I misunderstood you.
