This is one of my first tries at pixel art.

I think it could be better if you don't use black outline. and add little more shading on the hair to make it look less flat

Yeah, I thought about the black outline. I will probably get rid of it once I finish with the shading. I know I didn't finish shading the hair, I had to go, so I posted what I had here.

Pretty nice, all-though it doesn't look like Goku, mess around with his cheeks/eyes/nose a bit...

The line-art is quick and dirty, you should devote more attention to the outline, its pillar of each work. And i dont really see a problem with black outline here, its dragonball's style. Just correct those lines and make it smoother by using AA and it will improve for sure :) Right now it's not bad.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am not really going to devote myself to Pixel Art just yet, but I may eventually. I don't know how to do many of these techniques, but I am interested in learning some day.
