has anyone ever tried to draw a picture and scan at on your scanner and try to color it in then?
My artist says that's what he does but then again some of his art is really a little too good considering I thikn he says he's like 14 or something like that but it could be just me.

As for doing 32x32 tiles... I'm not a terrific artist myself, but I don't see much to gain in doing so; larger multi-tile elements are another matter, though. Concept drawings, additionally, also obviously could prove quite helpful.
