What are the sort of creatures you would.... expect to see in a brightly lit (Cheerful) forest?

I ask because I've been making icons for a Dark environment and I noticed they don't fit with my forest.

Oh and one more thing. The creature can be real or from fantasy. Doesn't have to be well known either.
