Why cant they just make the Bug Reports forum an automatic redirect to help--->report a bug?

otherwise theres not much point to that forum staying there

Except as a solid archive of bug reports that may be still valid but not yet added to the bug tracker.

Or as an archive of solutions to non-bugs and bugs that weren't dealt with.
