Enjoy =D I know I did.
Isn't official capitalization EVE Online?
Anyways, I've been following this update and quite looking forward it. Character models are very high quality, so I assume overall look will be very nice too.
Either way, I hope it's only a beginning, hopefully they'll add in-character combat too.

Yea, they should show The Old Republic how it's done. I'm sick of games that think they can just get you addicted to a piece of %#@& because it's the only one of it's kind. I believe EVE will set the benchmark now for Sci-Fi multiplayer universes.

I think CCP already done a lot of work to make EVE Online really good. I haven't played a lot of MMO Sci-Fi games, but EVE is best so far I ever managed to find. Even if I compare MMORPG and EVE, I still manage to find more features in EVE than the other game has.

Definitely. What's your character like? I'm a miner. Only 1 more day before I have the skills to use my Covetor Mining Barge. I also like to trade on the market.
In response to Kyle_ZX
Drake passive shield tank to infinity.

I don't play anymore though >.>

No, seriously, I think my drake had like 70 or 80k sheilds, it was stupidly easy to run missions with it. I just got bored.
In response to Jotdaniel
Drake only has good tank compared to all Battlecruisers and most Battleships. However only in a good Battleship you can do missions in under 20 minutes, while in Drake it takes over an hour.

I am concentrated on combat mission running, bounty pays quite well, and mission reward adds a little bit more. I tried mining but it didn't end up well, had no luck with trading either.
On other hand, some corporation members are doing complexes, usually it pays better than missions, but they do it in lowsec either nullsec, so I'm not sure if it's much better once you calculate losses.

Logged onto test server, got one screenshot:

Very cool shots.

True enough, I had my battleship(a raven I think, I could be wrong) but I still had a long, LONG time to train to fit it properly, and I just got too bored waiting.
In response to Kyle_ZX
May I know your name on EVE Online? Would be nice to know some BYOND members on there.
In response to Jotdaniel
Properly is quite abstract definition. I think one month old character is able to do level 4 missions in Raven, it'll be slow and dangerous but it's possible.
You can't go do level 4 straight away anyways, so you could have been doing level 1, 2, 3 missions while building up standing, and earning ISK meanwhile.
In response to Zaoshi
I was doing level 3 in my Drake, and 4's with a friend(he had a tech 2 raven I believe), but the basic fit to buy and arm a raven can't do lvl 4 missions, not in a month; you would be warping out every 2 minutes to recharge your shield, you need at least a solid month of training just for the raven itself, not counting and of the prerequisites for anything else you already learned.

Well I played around and ended up with this loadout:

Damage does suck indeed, but it's only because it's bunch of Tech 1 modules, on other hand tanking ability is higher than my current ship's. It'll take about two weeks to get into Raven, and two more to learn those modules, it's not that bad, especially if you really want to play and not able to pay real money.
In response to Zaoshi
I can say from experience that the Large booster isn't going to cut it, even running constantly, if you dont burst an XL there's just no way to run the lvl 4 missions in that ship.
In response to Jotdaniel
My old ship had only 300 sustainable tank, current one around 400, and this Raven has little over 400, it should be enough if done carefully.
In response to Zaoshi
My name on Eve is Snake Logan or if I'm doing missions then Jackel Kharn.
In response to Kyle_ZX
Added you watch list, my name is Kaba Zaoshi, but I'm rarely online.
In response to Zaoshi
Cool. I'll be online lots more now I gave up my mining character. I waited a month for the skills and I'm 2 days off a Covetor but I realized cashflow from mining is limited and actually quite low in the grand scheme of things.

In about 3 hours from this post I'll be on Jackel rocking my cruiser =D
