somethings wrong with the text...

when i open a dm file, the text is all messed up so i cant even see what im doing... heres some screen shots of what i mean...

Ye can't be usin' a variable-width font on th' good ship Dream Maker, m'lad. Stick w' monospace letters like System, Courier, or Bitsteam Vera Sans Mono an' ye won't go far wrong.
