I am not sure if it will, but for now I suggest using the following guide if you would like to use BYOND.

Mac is not Linux, There are some Emulators to run EXE files for the Mac but I don't know which one though.

Mac is based on BSD, which, like Linux, is pretty much a clone of Unix. As such, many Linux programs can run on, or easily be ported to, Mac. As I understand it, there is a program based off Wine for Mac that could probably run BYOND.

There is such a thing as Darwine, but I don't have any experience in it.
