I have a mackintosh G3, I tried downloading byond several times but it just gave me the coding for it. It says my computer doesn't recognize it, I don't why the hell it doesn't. Is there an answer to this problem?

Unfortunatly, BYOND is only made right now really for Windows Operating Systems. The Linux and Mac packages include a DreamMaker compiler for making games, as well as the DreamDaemon for hosting games, but you can't really do much in the ways of playing games with it.

I understand that there was a discussion(warning: it's long) about working more to get the Mac/Linux section up to par, but unfortunatly there isn't much in the ways of developers here that know production in those areas.

I am however pretty sure that if you can use Wine and the likes, that you can download and run everything fairly well with it. I'm not sure how much information there is about it, but the Linux guild might have more information on it since they're always wrapped around Wine.
