how do i get a command where the "File" and "Icons" are? (next to them) im trying to code in a "Help" menu but i dont know how. help? what do i need to type?

I think you'd have a better chance for an answer in the Developer How-to forum.
As for your question, I'm sorry, I didn't understand what you intended to say.
What kind of command?
"Where the "File" and "Icons" are" makes no sense to me (I think you might actually mean a window menu, but then again, these menus do not necessarily contain either).
As you said you want to "code in a Help Menu", I would advice you to try to work with Lummox JR's Making skins in BYOND 4.0-article.
