Problem Description: My boyfriend and I are both using the same router to connect to the internet. BYOND games won't let us play at the same time since we're both on the same router (and thus have the same IP...) Is there any way around this?

Being on the same router doesn't make a difference when it comes to playing most games.
The only time BYOND will interfere with your game playing is when the same key trys to join the same server. You can't the one key logged into a server multiple times. If you are doing this, register another key for your partner and play away.
That being said however, specific game owners often reduce stop multiple keys on the one IP from joining a server to prevent the user cheating. This is entirely out of BYOND's control and is up to the programmer to decide. If this is the case, the best you can do is find another game.
