mom refuses to allow me to portforward also i figured maybe this might reduce host lag considering its hosted off there servers and not my own pc (maybe off my pc but either way if theres a way to host byond games other then portfowarding would be nice to know)

I think that either you or me have misunderstood something there, as I doubt that they offer hosting on their servers, from the Wiki article I read (though I could be wrong).

If it is possible, I can not tell from the article, but I do not think it would be very successful, since you'd restrict yourself to other Hamachi users.

well i understand u there but maybe u know of another way i could host without haveing to portforward and finding hosts is not wat i want to do cause by doing that the host tends to want to be the complete owner and well me as just another owner but him haveing control of the game more then i do, but i just want to host a game with my own rules and restrictions but i can't do that when i can't portforward considering that my mom knows about most of thee risks that come with it.

There are a couple of "cheap" hosting services specialised to BYOND's need. That's the only alternative I could think of.

The way Hamachi works is by creating a VPN between you and other members on your Hamachi group. This does bypass firewall issues, but it does raise a lot of security issues, the number one being that it bypasses all firewalls.

On top of the security issues, as you mention, Schnitzelnager, you will be limited to other people who are also on your Hamachi group. Hamachi is great for limited cases, but should not be used for bypassing firewalls. It does this job, but is not it's function.

There are a couple of options you could go with.

First of all, I guess you can always try the Classified Ads forum. There are a couple of hosting offers even right now, or you could search actively by posting.

Another way would be to go with a service like dbzenhosting, farawayhost, or slicehost, depending on what kind of deal you're seeking.

hmmmmmm well any free way? and if i "have" to i'll get a host by a normal player, cause i only want to host a already made game

In that case, I'd say that Classified Ads is your best bet.

can i just put a basic saying on the classified ads like "i need a host? Tell me if u would like to host a game for me and then we will add each other to our pager and i'll give u the game i want u to host." or do i need to post all that info it said i had to?

I'd advice to take your time and obviously post all the information, since that not only shows you being serious on the issue, but as well answers most of the questions people will confront you with.
Well.. if you have problems hosting:This might help you...But I don't know.It may confuse you guys..

Answer:Well as you see here,I've tried when I was a starter here, then 5months later I found out that you would have to do this:

I think you would have to have Lynxs or something ._. urm..
Ohh Computer Firewall Router..
You can access your system through internet and then the thing requires your Wep key numbers for the password...
1.Type in your IP Address into your browser.
example:
192.168.1.68

2.Go into your Computer firewall system.

3.Hit add ports!

4.Type in:

BYONDHost1

5.Port No:
example:
10000

6.Then hit okay!(Save it!)

Then again do it again but put another port number!
Port No:
Example:
333

7.you can make different host ports!

Now..

In the collums that say: Hosted ports:
Add BYOND1 to the right.
..And I think thats all I can help you with right now..I'll get right on it with the video that shows you guys.<3

Well till then till then have a great day mates!

Had you read the postings, you'd have realised that his mother refrains from allowing him to port-forward, which means that your advice is kind of useless to the original poster.
As for your video... I fear that there are countless routers and firewalls out there, so, creating a video tutorial for one special combination is not going to be very helpful.
You can have a look at How to host a game to get a little overview on the difficulties.
