BYOND Build Number: 440.1018
Operating System: Windows XP
Video/Graphics Card: Not quite, sure, but I'm sure it's not the problem.
Game Hub/Link: SS13
Internet Connection Type: Broadband, Verizon
Firewalls/Routers: Windows Firewall, Norton 2009, Spybot(?), and I'm using a crappy Fast Ethernet Switch designed for Xbox's.

Problem Description: When I try to host via Dream Daemon I get the "BYOND hub reports port 2000 cannot be reached by players. A firewall or router may be interfering with your connection. For information on hosting worlds through a firewall or router, please visit BYOND Help or portforward.com.
" message at 30 seconds in.

I've went through and allowed all the neccesary things with Norton and Window's Firewall. So what should I do...any ideas? I'm already planning on getting a new router.

Please and thank you.
Did you do as advised and set up portforwarding on your router?

I looked up Port forwarding and there was none for my particular router, if you could explain how to do one in general (or point me to someone who could) I would be very appreciative.

I would guess that consulting your routers manual is probably the best option.

Have done, problem resolved.
