BYOND Build Number:441.1019
Operating System: Windows Vista 64 Bit
Video/Graphics Card: GeForce
Game Hub/Link: Any
Internet Connection Type: Wireless internet, Wired internet, any.
Firewalls/Routers:
Tried disabling firewall. Plugged in directly to router. I'm able to login just fine on my XP system.
Problem Description:
Login screen does not allow me to log in. I enter my name and password, and no matter how many times I click login it just stops.
Steps to Reproduce Problem:
For me, just opening up the Welcome BYOND! Select an account screen.

If it's of any help, I'm having similar problems with Steam not being able to locate a .dll file preventing me from starting it up either. The last thing I can think of to solve this problem is to directly connect through a modem and see if that does anything. Anyways, thanks for helping me out. Looking forward to having BYOND on my new laptop.
Solved my own problem. I uninstalled Norton Internet Services then opened my cmd prompt as admin and typed the following:
netsh winsock reset

I'm not sure if this works without uninstalling the interfering program, but it worked for me eventually. I hope this helps someone out.

Since I'm assuming Steam and BYOND work the same ports...

These programs interfere with Steam, and solving my steam problem solved my BYOND problem. Just look out for those.
