Quite sure it's at least DirecX 8 .... is always updated.
Internet Connection Type:
Broadband.... and working.
Firewalls/Routers:
I've made sure that Byond and all associated programs are still being permitted by the firewall.

Problem Description:
I am trying to log into the Byond Hub and I keep getting this message:
BYOND Hub: Connection failed
I have briefly looked through past help articles and can either have tried any of the suggested solutions that I found could be possibly be related.
I have also uninstalled and re-installed Byond and that doesn't seem to help.

Steps to Reproduce Problem:
It might be relevant to point out that this has happened on two computers at the exact same time about an hour after we had a power surge that restarted our computers.

Btw. the case of BYOND being temporarily down and trying again in a couple of hours is mentioned in the help articles hat you referred to ;)
