Operating System: Windows Vista
Internet Connection Type: Router/Modem
Problem Description: Everytime i try to update byond it tells me to close all applications and whatnot, which i do, then when i try again it still doesnt update and tells me the same thing, how do i update byond without having to uninstall it and reinstall it?

If you want to update BYOND through the automatic update system, yes, you must run it as administrator, or it is prone to fail.
That's a (smart and good) security measure by your operating system.
