Sorry if this is in the wrong topic or something. I didn't know where to put it.

So, I've finally ended my quest of getting Byond on my Mac. I used an emulator, and Byond is running! Just a few problems, though.

1. I can't run any games. I did what it said to do if I'm using an emulator. Entered the URL and stuff. Didn't work. Tried something else. I logged in and under my favorites were the games I wanted to play. I clicked 'join.' It gave me the same massage over and over. 'BYOND Central is not accessible.' Anyone have a clue what this means? I am I doing something wrong?

2. I can run Dream Maker, but once I've saved, I can't get the file again. I saved it to my desktop, and it's in a little folder. I opened it, and clicked the file. It gave me some options on what to open my file under. I don't know what to pick, or if anything would actually work. I would pick BYOND, but it's not actually installed on my computer; like I said, I'm using an emulator. Any help?

I'd really appreciate if someone could help me. I had been using BYOND on a VERY slow and old Windows laptop. It's a hassle because it takes about 10 minutes for the computer to start up, and like I said, it's extremely slow. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Please head over to the Linux guild, since they are specialised on issues concerning Linux and Mac.

Thank you in advance.

This Linux guild is very confusing... plus I don't have Linux so it's really quite confusing as most of the things there are about Linux not Mac. :(

I fear that there is no easy (mainstream) solution for what you request, because there simply is no user-base for something like that. But I'm rather confident that if you compile a posting at their forum and provide all the information they need, you're going to get a decent response.

Okay, I'll try it later today.

We don't really support Mac, mostly because I've never worked with them.
Another solution would be to run BYOND via a VM using Virtualbox.

Wow. Such a shame that <sarcasm> the whole team of volunteers assisting others solely contains you and nobody else </sarcasm>.

No, I'm not saying that, there's a few people that post on the Linux Guild, and if they have advise on OSX please feel free to post such information.
I'm just saying when I first developed the guild it was meant for Linux specifically, I certainly wouldn't mind the guild branching out to OSX if people were there to support it.
