Yes, the BYOND software is free to all users, and being a member only provides you with additional perks that aren't necessary to the functionality of the program. =)

Yes, the software is fully functional and not limited at all by your membership level.

However, if you have any hopes of people finding your game, it has to be an original idea and not a game based off of Dragonball Z, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.

Also, if you're not a member your game will not show up on the game index and players will have to know other means to find it to login and play.

I'm not saying making a game is pointless, but unless you're a member and have an original idea of a game. It kinda is.

Take it from someone who's had his game go from 50+ player down to less than 10 in a matter of days after that update was put in place.
