Dude, I'm having the same problem. Iv'e spent about 4 hours today trying to fix it, to no avail.

This issue is due to your firewall configuration. You need to configure your firewalls to allow byond.exe, dreamseeker.exe, and dreamdaemon.exe to have full access to the Internet, for outgoing and incoming TCP connections. Also make sure that your firewall doesn't do a hash check (it may say something like "MD5 signature") on the .exe file, so that when you upgrade versions it will still work; if you see a checkbox to do this turn it off.
