Ba-boom! (GiaD 2011)
Ba-boom! was created for IainPeregrine's Game in a Day 2011 contest, the chosen theme for the game is "For Science!".

I figured I should visit each site.

Strictly my opinion only, I felt this game was pretty fun. I thought at first "Oh great, a bomberman clone" - How wrong I was. The grand variety of bombs meant that we players had to keep our wits about us as we fight, activate, and time our throws down to the last possible second to catch someone else off guard (without blowing ourselves up).

I just wished though that the waiting screen programming could have been better - waiting an entire minute before the game can reboot and allow us to replay was annoying and a time-waster. Game also forces players to be at keyboard at all times, meaning that we had to kick afkers out in order to start the game.

Thank you for the game, and hope to see it improve!
I am glad you guys liked the game and had fun. A lot of things could be better I agree on that, I made a few updates to the game since I posted the game for the GiaD 2011 contest, ver 1.2 should be more polished than it predecessor was.

In terms of features an AFK check would be perfect, sadly I don't have much time this weekend, might do it next time I get home from the Defense Forces. Haven't check on BYOND for quite a while.

Thank you!
