I thought we might do something a little different today, and check out some of what BYOND offers in a specific category of application. The ones on the list below are all downloadable and functional (as of this writing).

This offers a lot of nice features. The airbrush and line-draw are especially slick! We've all seen the stretchy line-preview before (it's even in BYOND's own icon editor), but to see it happen in real-time on a BYOND map is pretty neat.

Doodle imitates the hexagonal grid of one of those magnetic drawing doohickeys (but adds color). You probably know what I mean, but if not, you'll probably recognize it when you start up Doodle. It includes multiple modes, so you can be a lone artist or compete with your friends.

This is a 4K Challenge entry -- a graphic chat room that allows the participants to draw blocks or lines. It's simple, but it works.

Of course I had to include something of my own in here! This is a rather strange program (of course) that generates something like a random stained-glass window and lets you decide how to color it in. It comes with source code, so if nothing else, it may give you some useful graphic tips.

MIA:
I can't get Flick's Coloring Book or XxDohxX's Paint to download, and I can't figure out Acebloke's Pixel It.

[Update: Flick posted in the comments to report that Coloring Book is back in action:

It's an easy way to introduce kids to BYOND, and more importantly, to keep them occupied for a few minutes.]

Do you have a BYOND-based drawing program I didn't list here? If so, put it in the comments!

I can download all of them, seems to me they all are very useful in every way possible
Pixel it isn't supposed to be playable, I cancelled it after Doh's Paint came out because his was awesome. Maybe one day I'll go back to it when I'll come up with something that'll be original.

I didn't realize that wasn't up anymore but it's there now. I had to rewrite F_Color_Selection to get it to work with 4.0 as well. I'll post an update for that in a few minutes. Some nifty programs here. :)

Yep, I read the Hub entry so I didn't expect something mind-blowing -- what confused me was that I couldn't get it to do anything (I did click on the black corner square). I have Vista and 4.0, so it may be a compatibility thing.
