I admit the tear-off menu thing is kinda nifty on occasion (Maya uses it to great effect, though Maya thankfully doesn't use Tcl/tk), if a little annoying when you don't want it (which is usually - the tear-off strip should really go at the bottom since it's hardly used), but the rest of it is so darned clunky.
