Descriptive Problem Summary:
I just got the following BYOND alert:
"Asha_LaPoe deleted your comment 'Re: Wide and Long icons Swap'. [Link]"
...and remembering that thread was a bug report, I was surprised that my comment could be deleted by the original poster. Trying to dig it back up, I can't find, leading me to believe they were also able to delete the report itself.
Here's the google cache of the original report:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/ search?q=cache:rPmHZuNWMRUJ:www.byond.com/ forum/%3Fpost%3D103778+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=fire fox-a
Trying to access it with the ID supplied there (103778), I get a "Not Found" page". I haven't been able to find it through any other means.
Looking at some of my own reports, it appears I have the ability to delete replies and the post itself (even without admin enabled)
Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1) Make a bug report on the main BYOND forums
2) Have someone post a reply
3) Delete all replies
4) Delete the post
The poster cannot delete a bug report nor replies to that bug report on the main forums.
The poster has control over the bug report
Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked? (Visit http://www.byond.com/download/build to download old versions for testing.)
I'm pretty sure this came about with the recent major site update, or one of the smaller updates since.
