This issue has been resolved.
You used to be able to combine forum topics. Of the last 6 or so newly created topics on my forums, there have only been about 2 actual topics being discussed. This applies to my forums as a whole, and is somewhat understandable that people aren't going to read through things before just posting a new topic. Need to be able to attach posts into a single thread, like we used to be able to.

I second this motion. I miss the ability to detach and reattach/attach different threads now that it's gone.

Just going to prod this, now I've marked a duplicate. Mark as duplicate doesn't bump the initial request? Probably should, given you're basically merging discussions.
