Thanks for tuning in to my previous post and hopefully this one.
You are to pick one of those themes and base your game upon it!
Theme one: Historical Events
eg: The Holocaust!
Theme two: Space. Black holes, other planets.
note: Must be a real-life thing. Based upon our galaxy. You can also base it upon what-if science space fiction.
Theme three: Your own creature.
Elaboration: Basically, make a game about a creature you created, using your mind.
Libraries allowed
I chose to allow the people to use any library and added a must and limit to the amount. You're allowed 4 libraries, and must state the library's name.
Rules
Your work must be original.
Using two emails to enter then leave with one will result in a DQ and ban from all other contest that I host.

Weakspots
Weakspots are there to balance our rewarding system to fit yours. You are given one of three options to select from. Art, Code and finally None. If you pick Art, the standards set upon the arts are low and the code are normal. If you pick Code, art standards are normal and code standards are basically low. If you pick None, your chances will increase and both will be at normal!
Deadline
Starts at 29/02/2012 and ends at 13/03/2012
(29th of feb 2012) and (13th of march 2012).
Be sure to send a .zip/.rar file that has your code/.dmb/.rsc files before the 13th of March!

NOTE: If we do not have more than one person in this contest within a week, I'll be forced to cancel it. We already have one person who emailed me his form. That one person will be given $12.5 if I cancel it.
*Anime games are allowed as long as they fit into the theme. I in no way will release your game's source and have this post right here to prove it. If I do release a source, you can sue me or take a legal action and inform the staff of BYOND of such action.

May want a slightly less sensitive historical event. WW2 would cover the same subjects but a bit more delicately.

For theme one, does it have to be exactly like the event or could I change things around. Like lets say the event takes place in the future but I want the games time setting to be before gunpowder. Would that be acceptable?

Would that be acceptable? Event in the future is not history. Also, you are not allowed to SLIGHTLY change the event, few changes are acceptable as long as the result/outcome is the same. | |
