Descriptive Problem Summary:
Maker does not create new folder location when changing name to include a folder path that doesn't exist.
Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1. Create file
2. Rename file to include a path that doesn't exist.
3. Click yes to rename.
4. File not moved.
Expected Results:
Prompt "Do you want to create new folder?"
Actual Results:
Nothing
Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often? Yes
In other games? N/A
In other user accounts?
On other computers?
Workarounds: Make folder manually or by using the 'New' file.

This isn't a bug, it has always been this way. You have to create a directory to create a file. I think you should move this to Feature Requests, and ask for the ability to create a new folder if you specify a location that doesn't exist.

This could be a permissions issue because Dream Maker works as you described for me.
