Why I tried to dual boot:
Okay, I really don't know why I tried to dual boot.
I had Windows 7 already installed, but I don't like it. So, I tried installing Vista. I looked up a video on how to dual boot. Followed everything, but the part where you select where to install vista, it said an error code, "Windows is unable to install".
I tried installing drivers to make it work. But it didn't help.
Whats the fail?
The fail is... I ended up deleting Windows 7. I was so desperate to get Vista installed, I deleted my Windows 7 to check if I needed more space..
Now this is just another thing:
I am going to quit BYOND until I figure out a way on how to fix my laptop, or buy a new one.
Oh 1 more thing before I go.
SCREW YOU MICROSOFT.

That's like, switching a Windows PC for a Mac. It makes no sense at all, bro. None.

You haven't answered as to why you wanted to leave 7 I am very curious as to why am I missing something from Windows 7?

Guys, can we try and keep this civil? I've had to delete a bunch of replies at this point, if I have to do so again I'll just delete the topic.

Vista is literally an incomplete rushed product. Windows 7 is pretty much the complete product, without the faults of Vista. I don't know why you'd choose Crap 1.9 over Crap 2.0. Seriously.

Dude,
dual boot wonly works with XP and win 7, or vista and xp but if it does work with win 7 and vista then you just got lucky. NEXT TIME USE A VIRTUAL COMPUTER BESIDES TRYING TO DUAL BOOT

hey i can use my laptop as a hosting.
hey and does the linux os use any of the window's os drivers? just wondering.

Linux has it's own set of drivers, yeah. I'd agree with Yammen, Linux is kind of a different style of operating system entirely, and so isn't really for the faint of heart. It's worth understanding why you'd need to change to Linux, before doing it.

Why the hell would you choose Vista over 7 that is a retarded choice...
Why not just return to the good old XP.
What were you trying to achieve dual booting those two OS's?
