Descriptive Problem Summary:
When you modify another user's post, if the post is the opening post of the thread then you will not be prompted to supply a reason as to why you modified it.

Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
  1. Edit the first post of someone's thread.
  2. Click save. No prompt shows up.


Expected Results:
You are prompted to supply a reason as to why you modified the post.

Actual Results:
No prompt.

Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often? Every time.
In other user accounts? Untested.
On other computers? Yes.

When does the problem NOT occur?
If you modify any other post in the thread the prompt shows up.

Workarounds:
n/a
It looks like this only actually applies to the Bug Reports and Feature Requests forums.
Confirmed, just tested it.
This is intentional in the bug/feature forums, though it might be subject to change. The reason is that some edits are simply on bug report fields, not the actual text fields that would need to get marked as an edit.
