Well, I didn't get any phone calls on Monday. This could be for one of two reasons: The first and most optimistic is, in my sleep deprived state, I misheard them and they were referring to next Monday. Which is possible however not so probable. Or I simply didn't get the job (notification still would have been nice). Although the latter is more likely, I'm going to be optimistic if only to keep myself in a semi-state of hope (false though it might be).
Outside of that scope, I'm still having massive amounts of trouble sleeping. Stress and nerves are taking their toll on me and I'm averaging about four to five hours of sleep a night. Granted I lived off that in high school, but there was always an IT double to catch up on lost time, I don't have that luxury any more (kinda strange coming from an unemployed guy... you'd think I get to sleep whenever I wanted, but that kind of attitude doesn't get you anywhere).
It could also be that they were incredibly busy or they simply forgot and will call me sometime today (I really, really wish!). Eh, either way, only time will tell.
(For those interested/have been bugging me for a while: I finally got around to writing a new page, sorry about the massive skip in there. I tend to lose motivation for everything in my current state. But at least I can like, make a "The lost pages special" or something.)
[Edit]Holy crap! According to the in game counter, IU is nearing 90 players. That's the most players I've seen in that game to date. Yay record!

There's nothing worse than sleeping problems... they have a devastating affect on your ability to function normally. I'm a pretty low-stress kind of person, but insomnia really gets to me.

OR...Your interview sucked Hm, I wonder if that could be classed as "simply didn't get the job", you know, I think it just might! But don't worry, your unnecessary insulting comment that's already covered in the opening sentences of the post will always remain part of the reason I don't like you. =D

yeah, always call them. if they don't give you a straight* answer, call them back. you want them to know you want that job more than the other asshole that got an interview.

After looking for so long, I'm so jaded about my odds of finding work that actually getting an opportunity is more stressful than not. It takes me well out of my routine to suddenly discover that yes, in fact, there might be an opening somewhere.
Of course, being a full-time student for so long, it's not that I've been all that marketable. Definitely give them callbacks. A bit of polite annoyance seems to cudgel prospective employers into action, while being simply polite tends to make one a thoroughly forgettable prospect.
Hi, my name is [insert name], I just had an interview and was wondering if I could check up on the status of my application.
