I can't get FRAPS to record my game. The counter doesn't appear in the corner and when I press the record hot key nothing happens.
- I've tried to record different BYOND games as well and it seems to work with them. They're being hosted by another person and I'm running my game from a local copy.
- Using the latest version, 3.4.7.
- Tried to run BYOND after FRAPS and run BYOND before FRAPS.
Anyone had similar problems to this and how did they go about fixing it?

Graphics hardware is on.
And I've tried to use camstudio but my videos seem to come out really laggy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtObR1Ap9gk I just played another BYOND game and it allowed me to record for some reason, yet I still can't get it to work with my own game. | |

Your game isn't using any transparent windows or interface elements, is it? If so, that will force the game into software rendering mode, which can't be recorded by FRAPS.

Fraps record BYOND games, but it won't record interface material on the screen, just objects made by the map only.

Also, I've always had good luck with http://camstudio.org/, which can get the whole interface.
